Failure to install authnet extension

I managed to get nbill installed after wrestling with the ioncube decoder install for a couple of hours, now I am trying to install the AUTHORIZE.NET extension from the nBill extenion installer and I get the following message:

The installation failed because the following file could not be created: /var/www/vhosts/MICHIGANZOOM.COM/subdomains/test/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_netinvoice/admin.gateway/admin.authnet/authnet.php (if this file already exists, try uninstalling the existing extension first).

Prior to this I received a similar message so I changed the permissions to 777 for the administrator/components/com_netinvoice/admin.gateway and components/com_netinvoice/gateway folders.  I noticed that the extension install was able to create subdirs in both of these dirs but apparently unable to copy the files needed.

Try deleting the sub folders that were created and installing the extension again. If it still will not work, please raise a support ticket, as I would need access to your site to see what is wrong.

Yes I tried deleting the subdirs and reinstalling ... same result.  Raising a trouble ticket now.
