Fees not showing in the Payment Gateway Settings

Hi, I have read that in version 2.1+ You can apply fees to payment gateways.

I am using the latest version of nbill in trial mode and I can see the options for this and i have setup a "Fee" (3%). However, when i go to the payment gateway settings and go to the "Fee or Discount Code" drop down box, there is nothing listed there?

Am i doing something wrong? Is this how i should be implementing? Or is this a bug?

Have you entered a 'code' on the fee record? Only fees with a code defined are shown in the gateway settings fee dropdown list.

Boom! Sorted, thanks! Didnt know it needed a code. It now shows up in the list. I just have to test it adds the cost now! Which i assume it will as everything else works perfectly.

Ok in testing there was an error. I have tried with two payment gateway and both had same result.

  • Clicked the pay invoice link (i have disabled need to login to pay).
  • This took me to the payment page.
  • I choose payment method and it shows me the fee i setup correctly
  • Click submit and it takes me to payment page, all with correct amounts
  • I pay the amount (Tested with a £1 transaction = 3p fee) and click Pay on the gateway (PayPal)
  • I get directed back to my website with no issues and a message saying "Payment Successful"

Now the problem is that in the invoice list, the invoice still thinks it is unpaid. I check the "income" page and there is no income record. When i try the same without a fee the income record is made for me and the invoice is marked as paid.

Any ideas please?

Ignore last post. It was my stupidity. I had blocked all IP access to site except mine which meant payment gateway callback could never be made. Sorry!
