Displaying Client Information
« on: 26/January/2012, 05:54:02 PM »
I've set up an order form that includes the "standard" (default) client information page. I've moved this page after the actual order form, but before the summary page. I noticed that when you use the login form on that page, instead of displaying the client information and allowing to press the "next page" button before going to the summary, the client is just taken to the summary page directly.

Is there any way to prevent this from happening? I'd like the client information to be displayed after the client logs in so that they can see it before going to the summary page and actually placing the order.

By default, the client profile fields have the 'published' property set to 'visible to new clients only'. If you set that property to 'visible to everyone' for each of those fields, it will display them, prepopulated, when the client logs in.

Thanks.

It will be a pain in the ass to have to do this every time I set up a new order form. Is there some way to change the default for these fields to Visible to Everyone?

You could set up one order form as you want it, then just make copies of it by using the 'Save Copy' button at the top of the order form page.  This option is also available for quote forms.

In fact, I would recommend this method of creating multiple order forms so that they all have a consistent look and layout.
