Hi,

The default payment instructions for the default vendor are not showing on the generated invoice.

The override payment instructions do show up if the client has a tax zone defined, so that works great;

However, the majority of the clients don't have a tax zone entered, so I was assuming that the default payment instructions would appear for those clients, but it is not working.

Payment instructions are taken from the tax record - do you have a tax record that is applied to clients who don't have a tax zone? If so, you need to amend the payment instructions on the tax record. If there is no tax record involved at all, what is showing up on new invoices? Are the payment instructions just blank?

I tried to setup a tax record for clients who don't have a defined tax zone, but it does not seem to work; maybe I set it up incorrectly; I would be happy to go with that solution if that would work best;

I initally set that up because the default payment instructions in the vendor record were not being added to the invoice, i.e. the payment instructions are blank; but it did not correct the issue, which was happening prior to adding the tax record..

I just tried this and was unable to reproduce the problem. I deleted all my tax records, amended the default payment instructions on the vendor record, and generated a new invoice, and the amended payment instructions appeared on the new invoice. Do you have any unnecessary tax records lying around with blank payment instructions? If so, try deleting them. Also, please check on the nBill demo site to see whether the same problem exists there: http://www.nbill.co.uk/v2demo/administrator/. Otherwise, could you please give me step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce this problem?

-after reading your reply, I checked the tax record that was setup for taxable items and it did in fact contain blank payment instructions. I changed the payment instructions there and now it works. 

I guess that I was under the impression that it would only show those instructions if there was a taxable item on the invoice...

This new nBill version is really great; our whole invoicing system has risen to a new level of elegance/simplicity/ease since the upgrade from 1x;
