Logo problems on email

On the notfication emails that contain the logo, sometimes I get

https://www.domain.co.uk/cms/index.php/index.php?option=com_nbill&tmpl=component&action=show_image&file_name=vendors/1.gif

(i.e. index.php is listed twice)

and so the logo doesnt appear in the email because its generated a 404

Its nothing to do with any htaccess rules as I first thought because ive seen it myself now (rather than just seeing 404 errors in the logs) so  i have a html email i can send you with it in if needs be but the email actually has the index.php listed twice

This was on a new order,  order confirmation email through to me, the administrator

Not a major problem but is this a bug or somehow a config issue ?
