Dutch frontpage lang pack, but notification invoice mails in English, now what

I know the dutch language extension pack is frontend only.
How can I force nbill to send Dutch mail notification text? Tried invoices.dutch.php but nBill seems to not pick up the language.
Can I force the language or is it picked up from browser?

It picks up whatever language Joomla is using. The text of e-mails is held in /administrator/components/com_nbill/language/en-GB/email.en-GB.php (or equivalent).
