Email not working for email sending (but CMS seems ok)

Hi all,
I have installed nBill and everything works great.
At this time I will be using it for manual invoicing and when an invoice is ready I would like to send it by email.

Tried with no success and this error:

The failure reason was not reported by the CMS. Check that you are using valid e-mail addresses (from and to) and that your server is capable of sending e-mails.

But I checked Joomla configs and everything works fine (also with Acymailing for newsletters which, in fact, send emails correctly)

Any idea?

Is there a valid admin email address specified on your vendor record? Does the Joomla 'contact us' page work ok?

Hi,
yes, the admin address is correct. But, in fact, the joomla mail (I tried a mass mailing to admin) did't work.
Strange because Acymailing is working.
I have just asked my host provider if this can be due to a recent change in dns (basically we added a DNS while anyway keeping the other). The error with joomla was:

PHPMAILER_RECIPIENTS_FAILEDinfo@arsbox.com

The strange thing is that other modules application have no problem in sending mails outside while both nbill and the Joomla core (!!) are not succceding..!

Hi again,
I noticed that if I change the server configuration (joomla) to send email with PHP mail the message is sent correctly. But if it is setted (as before) as SMTP server (which by the way allows to send email to all other modules without any problem) the error persists.

So, solved but...

You can override the method used by nBill by setting the values in the /administrator/components/com_nbill/framework/nbill.config.php file
