WorldPay gateway

sorry if the title suggested I had one made already, i haven't i'm afraid. 

I've read your answers to other customers queries regarding which gateways you may be developing but just needed some clarification and perhaps even a suggestion

I was just wondering if:
1. a gateway for WorldPay had been considered?
2. Or if WorldPay is even a viable option to use as a Payment Gateway ie. would it be possible to integrate in to Netshine?

I believe a gateway for WorldPay would be a fantastic addition for Netshine Billing as it is one of the most widely used online payment systems I have seen. Almost every time I have paid for a product online I come across the familiar WolrdPay interface. And to be honest due to its familiarity I personally trust this method of payment more than any other on the web.

When this is added to the fact that the customer I am currently building a site for is already a subscriber to WorldPay (already paying the  ?200 start up fee) I think I may have difficulty convincing him to change his payment system from Worldpay to SEC which would im assuming bring about new start-up costs etc.
I am new to the whole e-commerce side of things though at the moment and have yet to do much research, so perhaps i'm wrong and if anyone can point that out to me i'd be grateful.

Yes, worldpay is on the list to be developed. You are correct that there would be some cost involved in switching to SECPay - although SECPay is much cheaper than Worldpay. If you subscribe to the announcements forum, you will be informed as and when new gateways are published.

I'm hoping to start work on a few gateways myself later this week, and I believe a volunteer (or rather a group of volunteers) is working on some as well, so there should be more of a selection to choose from soon.

Sounds promising. I'm really loving this component as it is doing exactly what I need it for. A big thanks to everyone involved. I'm still currently in my trial stage but it's looking like I will be purchasing a full licence soon as now I'm finding it hard to imagine life without it!

I can't wait for version 1.1.2!!!
