The next release of nBill (1.2.1) is virtually ready, but due to heavy workload and illness, testing has been delayed and it will not be ready for general release for another week or two. I know some people are waiting for this release, so if you are willing to take the risk of running BETA software (I am running it ok on my own websites, but not all features are used by me), you may
contact me for a copy in advance.
Please note, this release is just a maintenance revision and does not include any major new features, just minor enhancements and fixes. The plan is to ensure nBill is as stable as possible before undertaking any new development. After 1.2.1 is released, the documentation will be updated, as this is now a little out of date. After that, work can start on new development which will include the ability to handle quotes, copying and sorting of records, improvements to the reports, and working towards allowing nBill to operate independently of the Mambo/Joomla API. I am hoping to be able to deliver the first new features towards the end of the year. In the meantime, maintenance releases will continue to be provided if necessary.
