Hi!

I upgraded a couple of days ago to nbill 2.3 from 2.0. I used the patch provided, since I had locally modified some custom files.

The upgrade requested also the database to be upgraded. No error message was shown up and at first all seemed ok.

However when I try editing and saving changes on anything e.g. a contact, a product, an invoice etc i get

Code:
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

In server logs for example when changing a product
Code:
[Tue Jan 03 16:11:59 2012] [warn] [client 62.169.208.167] (104)Connection reset by peer: mod_fcgid: error reading data from FastCGI server, referer: http://www.weballdesign.gr/administrator/index.php?option=com_nbill&action=products&task=edit&cid=25
[Tue Jan 03 16:11:59 2012] [error] [client 62.169.208.167] Premature end of script headers: index.php, referer: http://www.weballdesign.gr/administrator/index.php?option=com_nbill&action=products&task=edit&cid=25

Same thing from frontend when trying to change user details

When I used one of my forms to create a new order, it proceeded succesfully  creating a pending order, however when I tried to enable the order I got same message

In joomla everything seems to work ok, editing, installing etc

I am using debian squeeze with php 5.3 and joomla 1.5.23. with mod_fcgid and suhosin

I downloaded the patches you have in known issues but nothing changed

Please help me figure out what might be the cause..

It smells like a problem with ionCube, which may well be a result of code changes in version 2.3.0 (sometimes newer releases of the ionCube loader are buggy and you have to revert to an older version). Please submit a support ticket (in the installation/upgrades category), and let me know whether your server is x86 or 64 bit and I will send you a loader file that should work. If the problem persists after that I will need access to your site to investigate further.

I went to http://www.ioncube.com/loaders.php and downloaded again the loader. (ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so)

They were updated in Dec 30. The one I had, was a month older.

Problem seems to be fixed!!

Thanks for your help!
