Hi.,

I have setup nBill for a client, and since the first payment went through on PayPal, I am getting the following error sent to the error email account. Does anyone know what this could be to do with? (e.g. did I miss a setting)

 ??Gateway transaction  ??0 ?? not found ??

Many Thanks,

Tim

I can't think of any reason why that would happen - please submit a support ticket as I will need access to your site and some information from your Paypal IPN history log to investigate.

We did test the multi invoice payment by adding and separating the invoice numbers in the url, not sure if that could have done it. But I will update my client and open the ticket shortly.

Many Thanks,

Hi,

Just a quick thought whist I am about to open a ticket.
IF my client was taking payments on PayPal that were not via an nBill invoice still (his clients send him the payment direct to the PayPal account), PayPal would still send an IPN back to nBill and I assume that could cause that error report?

Could I be right?

Many Thanks,

Tim

Only if the client has entered the callback URL in their Paypal account control panel. There is no need to enter an IPN URL in the Paypal control panel, as nBill tells Paypal which URL to call back at the time the transaction is initiated.
