Payment Plans with Paypal?

Hey all,

I get this error message when ever I do payment 2 payment plans with paypal.


"Sorry, this payment gateway only allows a minimum of 3 payments - it will not be possible to pay for this order online. "


any solutions? work around?

I'm afraid this is a limitation imposed by Paypal. It is not possible to take one payment, followed by another single automated payment - you can either take a one-off payment or 3 or more payments, but not 2. It is very strange and frustrating, but there is nothing I can do about it I'm afraid!
