Hi Russell,

Yer I understand about the till paid bit and agree with you. The problem obviously as a result is that no customer would know how to pay until they got the invoice, so its a vicious circle Wink

I also understand about dev time on 2.0 having priority. I personally cannot wait for 2.0 as it bring so many things with it that I already need lol, and then most of all, the 1.5 support without the need for legacy (so native id assume?).

Well if we have any talented php coders out there who dont mind doing the nbill community a favour. Smiley A simple Offline Payment gateway would be awesome Cheesy

Regards,

Tom.

Ok, here it is again, step-by-step:

  • Create a new field of type 'dropdown list'.
  • Click on the Options... button next to the new field.
  • Add an option which uses the gateway name as the 'value', and whatever you want the user to see as the 'description'
  • Add an option with 'offline' as the value, and 'Pay Offline' (or whatever) as the description.
  • Submit that, then click on the 'edit...' button next to the field, and select 'Payment Gateway' as the 'Order Value' (that is the last setting on the edit field popup).
  • Submit that, then save the form.

Edited: Version 1.2.3 now allows you to use a value of 'offline' instead of '-1' (minus one), which makes order confirmation emails easier to read.

Thank you for this! I've been searching the manual (pdf and html) to see how this is done. But I can't figure this last one out without a screen shot. "Submit that, then click on the 'edit...' button next to the field, and select 'Payment Gateway' as the 'Order Value' (that is the last setting on the edit field popup)." Where do I find the "Edit Field Popup"?

This post is in the Version 1.x part of the forum - it does not apply to nBill 2. For nBill 2, please see http://www.nbill.co.uk/help/index.php?page=allow-the-user-to-choose-a-payment-method.html
