Hello,

Just testing the SecPay gateway, before I switch it on.

As such, in the authorisation screen I need to be using test data [fictitious credit card details].

The problem is that after i press 'Authorise' the screen is just hanging with the message "Please wait while your card details are authorised. This transaction is encrypted for your privacy. Do not exit or press back until confirmation received."

Any ideas how I may test this, so that the order is processed?

Thanks

Make sure you use the correct test card details:

Card Type: Visa
Card Number: 4444333322221111

Hello

When using the test card details you provided me ... Card Type: Visa, Card Number: 4444333322221111

... after selecting     authorise    , the user is taken onto a really odd page where all the menus and CSS is totally screwed up.  I recommend that you order something yourself to take a quick look.

Please would you advise what the problem maybe, so I can fix.

Many thanks

I just tested it and it worked fine for me. Are you using the generic test account, or your own account in test mode? If the latter, are you specifying a template? If so, it might be that your template is missing or faulty.

Hello

I am just testing it with a test user account I created.  Is there a special login that needs to be used to test this?

Pls see attached screenshot

As for the template, I am not too sure, I guess I am just using the default [ i didnt know that you could specify a template for this]

Thanks

Are you using all the default values in the gateway settings, or have you changed any of them? When testing, the settings should be as shown on the demo site: http://demo.nbill.co.uk/administrator/index2.php?option=com_netinvoice&action=gateway&task=edit&cid=36

I changed the values to the ones that you are advising I use ... yet I still receive that same screen in the screenshot.

Could you try temporarily switching to the default Joomla template to see whether it is a limitation imposed by your template?

On the Joomla menu, go to Extensions->Template Manager, select 'rhuk_milkyway' and click on the 'Default' toolbar button. After testing, repeat the process but select your actual template instead of rhuk_milkyway.

Hello

the rhuk_milkyway template does not work on my website (none of the top menus are showing)

You mentioned earlier that it worked fine for you though, what did you do?

I tried it on the nBill demo site (demo.nbill.co.uk).

It should not matter particularly if the menu does not display - you can just copy and paste the URL in your browser address bar to test the payment process.

Yes, it appears to be a problem with my template accepting the the success/failure/error page (https://www.secpay.com/java-bin/ValCard) which directly follows the secpay order.

Pls advise if you have any suggestions to resolve

Many thanks

If you send me a copy of your template (to support@nbill.co.uk) I will see if there is anything I can do about it.
