Hi,

I have an nBill license key that I am currently using on a live site.  I will be moving this site to a new host soon (stay away from siteground everybody) and have some questions about the best way to accomplish this.

Actually I'm not so much moving the site as rebuilding it from scratch on the new host with a fresh Joomla 1.5 install.  The domain name will be the same though as the previous site (for which I already have an nbill key).

So - is it as simple as installing a trial version of nbill on the new site (so I can get everything configured), making the appropriate DNS changes when I go live with the new site, and entering my existing license key into the fresh nbill install?  Will the new nBill install recognize my existing key?

(I'm not concerned with copying over any database or user info from the old site - taking the opportunity to "rebrand" the site)

Thanks,

jjwp

Yes, you can use a free trial key while setting up the site, and when the DNS changes have propogated, the next time you try to access the nBill administration functions, it will prompt you for your key. As long as your domain remains the same, your old key will continue to work.
