I am moving hosts from GoDaddy to BlueHost. I'm pretty new to working with databases. Can anyone tell me how to transfer my content from one database to the other? If possible, I'd like to transfer my users as well.. I'm just not sure how to do this.

Thanks,
CR

The easiest way is to use a backup and restore script or component. If you are moving from one cPanel account to another, you can backup and restore your entire website very easily in cPanel. If you just want to move the database, you can export the structure and data using a database administration tool such as phpMyAdmin, then import it into the new database (again using a tool like phpMyAdmin). If you just want to copy the nBill tables, you can use the nBill backup/restore feature.

Unfortunately I already moved the domain's DNS to the new host and can no longer access nbill on the old host (since the license key only works on one domain). How would I access the nbill backup/restore feature on the old host (all files are still intact at old host)? If necessary, I can transfer my DNS back to the old host for the time being, but is there any way around having to do that?

You could amend your hosts file to point to the old server temporarily. See http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial51.html

Thanks Smiley Didn't know I could do that. Unfortunately I don't have a dedicated IP at GoDaddy anymore so I'll just have to switch the nameservers temporarily.  Thank you for your help.

You don't need a dedicated IP, you can enter a shared IP address in your hosts file.

Hmm.. I wonder why it didn't work then? I tried it and it gave me an error saying the page couldn't be accessed on that server. Maybe an issue with GoDaddy shared hosting accounts? Oh well, I've already changed the DNS and am waiting for it to propagate now.
