When you get ready for the Alpha testing. Will this be open to everyone or just a select few? I would be happy to put in some testing time to help out.

Just a quick update: I intend to release an Alpha version of nBill 2.0 early next week. It will not require a license key, but will cease to work on 31st December 2009. Only the back-end features will be available (front-end yet to be developed!). It will require PHP5 with mysqli, and will run on both Joomla 1.0 and Joomla 1.5 without legacy mode, as well as Mambo 4.6.

I managed to include a few things that I didn't think I would be able to, such as printable receipts, template-based e-mails, and better support for partial payments. More details to follow in a new announcement next week.

Hi there

Ive got a couple of jobs to sort out over the next week or so but if you are anywhere near doing a new alpha release (even if its just emailed to me and not a "general" alpha release), I'm more than happy to look at it again. I've actually got to start thinking about what updates i need to do to all my events because of the table name changes and the structure changes regarding the contact records etc so i might as well try it out on the "latest" alpha release, the next time you do that and I will give the order form editor (which looked hot last time!) a good test too.

I don't intend to do another alpha release - I hope to get the first beta release out towards the end of next month.
