ol ?,
I have a doubt with regard to the component.
It would like to use the component in my site for lodging (webhosting).
I want that the plan appears in the mydomain.com/plan1 address; where customer chooses the regularity of the payment (monthly or annual).
He would also like to use the JWHOIS (component of the Joomla) to find domains. Would have as to integrate it it the system? In this in case that she would have some stages (the customer chooses the plan and if she goes to pay monthly or annually; research and selects a domain and in the available case of its value it is added; it confirms the data and effects the payment.)
the component can be used in this way? If not, he would have some way to use it of some form that more if approaches to this?

I am thankful since already;
Good night (here in Brazil) and congratulations for the component.

Ol ? Tovir. De facto, falo portugues, mas vou responder em ingles por causa das regrasWink

The component does not currently integrate with JWHOIS, but that is another good idea (only trouble is, everyone wants it to integrate with something, but I can't make it integrate with everything!). It is possible with a bit of PHP code to achieve what you want though (I've done it on my own hosting site - see Netshine Hosting).

I will add an article to the documentation or something that shows how to do this, but it will have to wait a while because my wife has just given birth so I'm not at work for a couple of weeks now.

But I FIND that it would only content me of beginning with the integration with the JWhois. I am testing, and I will go to wait the publication of its article that will go to assist me and very .

hi,

i began testing this great component yesterday, we too would like to use it for hosting-orders, if you could give some sort of advice in which direction we would have to work, to get j!whois/ep-dev-integration, it would speed up our decision to buy the component.

cheers

I will get to this as soon as I can, but things are very busy at the moment. Lots of people want lots of different things, and I can't please everyone!   Undecided

Rest assured, I have not forgotten about this though.

You will be pleased to hear that J!Whois integration will be available in the next release (version 1.1.2). This will take the form of offering you a new field type for your order forms if you have the J!Whois component installed. The special J!Whois lookup field type will present a text box for the user to enter their domain, and a button to check the availability. If you do not have the J!Whois component installed, you will not be offered that field type (or if you had it installed when you defined the form, then uninstalled it, the lookup won't work).

I will get version 1.2 out as quickly as I can, but there is some more work I want to include in it first.
